In brief
"Cheap kratom", "cheapest kratom", "kratom 1 kg" - these are searches answered mainly by offers outside Czech regulation. Legal kratom in Czechia has a price that comes from specific, verifiable items: a permit and record-keeping, a lab report for every batch, packs up to 50 g with prescribed labelling, age verification and VAT. This article shows what makes up the price, how much a gram costs with us (current table below), why there is no legal kilogram pack and how to recognise a quality product.
What makes up the price of kratom
- Raw material and origin. The price of leaf from Indonesia differs by region, leaf selection and processing; it is higher for strains made from selected mature leaf (e.g. Maeng Da).
- A lab report for every batch. Analysis of alkaloid content (HPLC), heavy metals (ICP-MS), microbiology and mycotoxins in an accredited laboratory costs thousands of crowns per batch - and batches are small because of the pack size limit.
- Permit, records, supervision. A licensed seller keeps records of every batch and sale, pays administrative fees and is subject to inspections.
- Packaging and labelling. Packs of at most 50 g, labelled as a psychomodulatory substance, with a batch number, the mandatory information and a warning on a prominent part of the pack.
- Age verification and logistics. Identity verification for online purchases and delivery with an age check cost more than an anonymous parcel.
- Taxes. Kratom is in the standard VAT rate. The Lex Kratom proposal envisages, from 2027, an excise tax of CZK 2 per gram of powder (CZK 100 on a 50 g pack) and CZK 10 per gram of extract.
When one of these items is missing, the price drops - but so does what you get for it: a known composition, a traceable seller and the possibility of a complaint.
Price per gram in our range
The table is generated from the current price list and reports; larger packs work out cheaper per gram, extract is converted per millilitre.

Prices include VAT as of the date shown, sorted from the lowest price per gram. Mitragynine content is the COA value of the current batch. The maximum pack size under the decree is 50 g.
Why you will not find 1 kg, "wholesale for everyone" or "3+1"
The decree limits consumer packs of a psychomodulatory substance to 50 g. Kilogram bags, "wholesale" offers for private persons and volume deals are therefore either outside Czech regulation or contrary to its purpose - the regulation is meant to prevent the promotion of consumption, not to play into it. For the same reason advertising of psychomodulatory substances is significantly restricted: it must not contain health claims, expressions such as "natural" or "vitalising", or target minors. With us the price is made up of the pack and the batch; any price change concerns the pack, never the "effect", and never encourages higher consumption.
When cheap kratom is suspicious
- the price per gram is well below the cost of testing and licensed sale,
- there is no certificate of analysis with a batch number, or only a "generic" one,
- packs over 50 g, "kilo", "wholesale" for private persons,
- the seller has no physical shop and licence, is based abroad or cannot be traced - see Importing kratom into Czechia,
- sale without age verification, from a vending machine or in a corner shop - see where kratom may not be sold,
- the description promises effects, "strength" or "extra strength".
How to recognise quality kratom: a checklist
- Batch report. Mitragynine and 7-OH content, heavy metals, microbiology, mycotoxins, date and laboratory. How to read it: COA for kratom.
- Licence and a physical shop. A Ministry of Health permit and the address of a shop you can visit.
- Origin and processing. Region, vein colour, grind - factual data, not stories.
- Labelling under the law. Psychomodulatory substance designation, batch number, mandatory information, instructions for use, packs up to 50 g.
- No promises. A quality seller describes facts; only the mandatory text describes effects.
- Storage and shelf life. A resealable opaque pack, a stated shelf life - see Storing kratom.
Frequently asked questions
Why is kratom more expensive after the regulation?
Because of items that were missing before: a report for every batch, licence and records, labelled packs up to 50 g, age verification. From 2027 an excise tax is to be added under the Lex Kratom proposal.
Where is the cheapest kratom?
The lowest legal price per gram is in the table above; for powder the larger pack works out cheaper. Offers well below this level tend to come without a report, without a licence or from abroad.
Can I buy kratom in bulk?
As a consumer, no - packs are limited to 50 g. Wholesale is possible only between permit holders.
Do you have discounts or promotions?
The price is made up of the pack and the batch; current prices per gram are in the table. Advertising of psychomodulatory substances is restricted by law, so you will not find promotions encouraging higher consumption with us.
Is more expensive kratom automatically better?
No. Quality is documented by the batch report, not the price. Compare the alkaloid content and purity in the COA and the price per gram.
